This traditional Hmong jacket features assorted batik patterns. It has two side slits and falls just below the hips. It is a dyed with natural indigo, giving it the well-known rich blue color. The indigo plant is grown and harvested in the hills of Northern Thailand, where it is processed and made into dyes using traditional methods.
